This thermostatic shower valve has automatic shut off in the event of water failure. Maximum temperature can be pre-set. It is available in EXPOSED or CONCEALED versions. This popular valve will operate on any balanced pressure plumbing installation. Finish available in Chrome or gold plated brass. Operating range 0.1 bar min to 5 bar max.

Q - Will the shower kit from my old bathroom mixer (or my shower mixer) fit onto a TAPSHOP mixer?
A - Yes, in 99.9% of cases. The accepted UK shower flex size is 1/2"BSP(British Standard Pipe).
If you want to check, unscrew the shower flex from your mixer, and measure the male thread stub. If it measures 21mm diameter, it is 1/2"BSP, and your flex will fit our mixers.

Q - Wall outlet (for shower kits) - what is it?
If you order a CONCEALED or INBUILT shower mixer, and you intend to use a flexible hose kit with it, you will need a WALL OUTLET to attach the hose.
You will NOT need a wall outlet for a SURFACE shower mixer valve.
